Why we designed QueenKiss’ first six leather earrings
The First Six marks the beginning of a new chapter for QueenKiss.
This collection was created as a small, carefully edited release of six premium genuine leather earrings. Each design was chosen with a clear purpose: to introduce the QueenKiss language through shape, texture, colour, and quiet artistic expression.
Rather than launching with too many pieces, we wanted to begin with a collection that feels focused and intentional. The First Six is designed to show the different sides of QueenKiss — minimal, sculptural, organic, expressive, and wearable.
Each pair is handcrafted from premium genuine leather, selected for its soft texture, lightweight feel, and beautiful matte finish. The material allows the earrings to make a statement without feeling heavy, making each piece comfortable enough for everyday styling while still carrying the presence of wearable art.
A collection built on shape and restraint
The First Six was designed around one central idea:
Jewellery can be simple, but still expressive.
Each piece uses a clean silhouette, but the form, texture, and colour give it personality. Some designs are quiet and minimal. Others are more artistic and sculptural. Together, they create a balanced first collection that introduces QueenKiss as a wearable art jewellery brand.
The collection was designed around three principles:
Lightness
Each piece should feel comfortable to wear, even when the shape is bold.
Texture
The natural surface of premium genuine leather gives depth, softness, and character to each design.
Wearable art
Every earring should feel like a small art object, but still be easy to style in daily life.
The Minimal Arch
The arch design introduces the architectural side of QueenKiss.
Its curved silhouette feels calm, balanced, and modern. The shape is simple, but not plain. It has a sculptural quality that makes it feel refined and intentional.
We chose this piece because it represents structure and quiet confidence. It is minimal enough for everyday wear, but distinctive enough to feel like a design object.
The arch is one of the clearest expressions of the QueenKiss direction: clean lines, soft texture, and modern wearable form.
The Everyday Circle Stud
The circle stud is the most timeless piece in The First Six.
It was designed to be simple, versatile, and easy to wear. The small round shape feels classic, while the leather texture gives it warmth and a handmade character.
This piece is important because every collection needs a quiet foundation. Not every design has to be dramatic. Some pieces are meant to become part of daily life.
The circle stud represents the everyday side of QueenKiss — minimal, useful, and quietly beautiful.
The Abstract Inverted Heart
The inverted heart brings softness and emotion into the collection.
Instead of using a traditional heart shape, we turned the form into something more abstract and sculptural. The result feels feminine, expressive, and modern without becoming overly sweet.
This piece was included because QueenKiss should not only be minimal. It should also carry feeling.
The inverted heart represents warmth, individuality, and quiet confidence.
The Organic Flower
The organic flower design brings movement and artistic energy into The First Six.
Its rounded petals feel playful, but the clean leather finish keeps it refined. The shape has a hand-cut, art-inspired quality, making it one of the more expressive pieces in the collection.
We chose this design to show that QueenKiss can be bold without becoming loud. It is colourful, joyful, and wearable, but still sits within a calm designer language.
The organic flower represents creativity, freedom, and visual softness.
The Organic Coral
The organic coral design was created to feel more irregular and sculptural.
Its flowing shape is inspired by natural forms, imperfect edges, and abstract movement. It is less symmetrical than the other pieces, which gives it a stronger handmade and artistic quality.
This design brings depth to the first collection. It shows the more expressive side of QueenKiss — the side that is not afraid of unusual shapes, strong colour, and wearable art energy.
The organic coral represents natural movement and artistic individuality.
The Minimal Rectangle Statement
The rectangle statement earrings bring structure back into the collection.
The clean rectangular shape creates a stronger, more graphic silhouette. The cut-out detail keeps the design light and gives the piece a more architectural feeling.
This design was included to balance the organic pieces. Where the flower and coral forms feel fluid, the rectangle feels calm, structured, and modern.
It represents the more refined statement side of QueenKiss — bold enough to be noticed, but simple enough to remain timeless.
Why only six designs?
The First Six was intentionally kept small.
A focused launch allows each design to have space and purpose. Instead of overwhelming the collection with too many options, we wanted each piece to introduce one clear idea.
The six designs work together as a visual family:
